We dumped the waste tanks, Peggy cleaned the awning and we\nate very well since yesterday’s shopping nightmare is now paying off\nwith the refrigerator and cupboards of the affluent. Tomorrow we will\nreluctantly leave this place and continue south. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\tThe Redding area is very pretty, the\nweather has been superb and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous\nwith amazing colorful vegetation, majestic rock and volcano\nformations, spectacular waterfalls and rivers, beautiful lakes and\nabundant wildlife. This October, however, it is bone-dry and even the\nmost insignificant error with open flame coupled with some breeze or\na volcanic eruption will result in a fiery holocaust that could\nconsume everything in this stunning region.
