Last night the rain started again.\nThere were a few lulls in the deluge this afternoon but mostly it was\ndreary. There have been a few downpours today that were drumming so\nfuriously that I could see little water impact exclamation points\nrising from the hull of the neighbors’ kayak which is strapped to the\nroof of their truck. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However,\nsome of the plucky Oregonians near our RV space spent the day with\ntheir RV’s doors open even when it was raining. They must be\naccustomed to being wet. Things got so slow around the trailer today\nthat I actually helped Peggy load a 1942 version of Jane Eyre for\nviewing on our boob tube. To surprise me even more, I watched it with\nher. Peggy really likes the portrayal of Ed Rochester by Awesome\nWelles but I think the jargon they used almost makes the dialogue\nunintelligible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
