Today we spent quite a bit of time on\nthe phone trying to get our future RV park scheduling squared away.\nWe cancelled our stay at nearby Friday Creek (see yesterday’s blog)\nand started calling all over NW Washington for replacement locations\nfor the three weeks we are NOT going to spend in Friday Creek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\tIt seems that RV spaces in this part\nof Washington are in great demand and very popular with the RV crowd,\nparticularly on weekends in the summer. Nevertheless, after only a\nfew miserable hours on hold and waiting for folks to answer their\nphones, we were able to get spaces for every cancelled day except\none, which we hope to spend boondocking up the Skagit River near\nBaker Lake. I’m glad we have generators, on-board water and waste\ntanks, a satellite TV antenna and a couple guns because we will be\nroughing it outside our normal comfort zone. \n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
